Easy ride up the mountain, great views. We rode the gondola up, hiked a meadow path and then took the gondola back down again. You can hike down the mountain. Bring your own food and drink.

We were glad we took the gondola ride to the top, a little hesitant because of the cost but it was worth it. The view was stunning and we enjoyed the trail at the top with the animal figures and the wildlife information.

We rode this up so we could hike up top. We could have hiked up but that would add about 3 hours of steep hiking. Not sure we would have anything left for up top. It's a $40 ride and the views are great but...More

This time of year the gondolas are operating as ski lifts. They only do the scenic rides in the off season. Check their website for dates.
