Wonderful stroll thru manicured gardens of the world. See plants from other high elevation areas of the world. Nice garden for kids. Doesn't take long to see unless you want to just sit and enjoy the flora and waterfalls.

My wife and I are avid gardeners and just loved this place. There were alpine and non-alpine flowers and plants from all over the world in a gorgeous setting, with waterfalls and a little old former school house now a garden shop. The trails would be almost all handicap accessible. There were some areas that had stone steps, but not... More

Many people who visit Vail miss one of the hidden gems, the Betty Ford Gardens. If you are at all a plant lover or just looking for a relaxing walk on a beautiful Vail day, it's well worth the time and effort. The gardens are easy to get to either by free Vail shuttle bus or walking. I recommend a... More

So glad we listened and visited the gardens. Very unexpected and wonderful! Nice and quiet and liked the different areas. The amphitheater was closed due to rehearsal but I can imagine attending a concert there would be amazing.

My first impression was that the garden was tiny, but then I realized that it extends significantly beyond the visitor center. The garden is nicely laid out for a leisurely stroll. The sub areas make nice groupings, and the variety of alpine plants on display is large. For education or just for aesthetics, the garden is worth the visit if... More

Gardens were beautiful (June is a great month to see them). Unique and interesting presentations on alpine flora.

This is garden exhibition is located right below Ford Fields, and next to an amazing playground. My kids loved it! And, the gardens are all extensively labeled. Very enjoyable destination!

The gardens are very nice with many different kinds of flowers. There were areas to just sit and think about life or think about nothing at all. It is a nice size that allows you to take in a lot without a lot of walking. Nicely done.

This is a very well maintained garden tucked away on the east end of Vail. We went for a cool walk in the morning and very much enjoyed the stroll through the garden. Tons of different plants, both flowering and not. The variety is amazing! Many picturesque locations throughout the park. The walk through the gardens took about an hour,... More
