Trinidad's history includes visits and stays by some of the West's most notorious characters! This museum is a wealth of information. Although this beautiful mansion is undergoing some much-needed interior renovation, it is well worth a visit!

Very worth a stop. I had time to kill and always enjoy history. This little gem is packed with it. Take a few hours and have a look. They even have one of Kit Carson’s coats!

This relatively small museum is packed with fascinating displays of the mining, ranching, brick-building, and transportation systems that built this area. The displays are varied and very well described and present the good and not-so-good history of the area. Well worth the visit.
