All areas are clean, lots of walking areas, safe feeling. Just a short drive to the lower areas and you can swim, fish or just hang out. They have a great area near the water that is more rugged camping no frills.

My goal was birding. Somewhat disappointing lack of birds on the reservoir. However very helpful agent at one entrance gave us tips on birding spots. Successful siting on one hike in to the water.
