We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Telluride. We stayed in Mt Village and took the Gondola over several times.

Fun place to stroll. It’s basically an old mining town that has been preserved and made into a fashionable place to go ski or the film festival or the many other festivals that the town hold every weekend.

This quaint town is different as there is no corporate image...all lodging is through a broker. All restaurants are local. The best first stop is the visitor's center located on main street. The greeter was very helpful and friendly; full of suggestions. Be mindful of...More

It's easy to Love the history of Telluride and the iconic view @ the end of the box canyon. All the Funkiness that is telluride Is alive on Main Street. Galleries, pubs, classic hotels, old theaters and mom and pop shops make this place special.

I usually target the first of October, plus or minus a week and you'll be really close to the peak. It looks great either way.
