We stopped by Telluride on the suggestion of a stranger and were very glad that we did. The town has a very nice gondola ride that is actually part of their public transportation. It is free to ride and runs til very late at night....More

The architecture could keep a person busy for days. So many gorgeous buildings, both historic and new, decaying and preserved, it's a feast for your imagination. Good assortment of salons, galleries, clothing & etc. shops plus a handful of bars & eateries. Love it here!

Down town Telluride is one of my favorite places to visit this time of year. The locals are so friendly and the town is very clean. The views from main street are second to none. Love it here!

I usually target the first of October, plus or minus a week and you'll be really close to the peak. It looks great either way.
