Fish Creek waterfall is close to town and has a variety of different trails that make viewing the waterfall possible for all ages. If you want a strenuous hike, you can hike down to the falls and then up behind it for a hike that winds its way up across a rocky section and then through the forest. For a... More

Met family that lives nearby but hadn't visited the falls yet. We thought it was very nice, took some wonderful photos. We had a disabled person in our group and we were able to take the wheelchair on a couple of the paths, enough that we all felt comfortable with the walk and the view of the falls

Beautiful falls, gorgeous walk and not too difficult for our children either - aged 6 and 2. Really pretty surrounds.

I enjoyed the Fish Creek Falls hike, Colorado does it right! We waited for most of the snow to melt. There are some steep drop offs.

Pretty area and falls are worth seeing. Be sure to take your National Park card as it is good for the park fee. Can be crowded at times and there is limited parking.

You will have to pay the park fee but it is worth it. Plenty of places to take great photos. Both kids and adults can step into the water at the base, depending on the season.

Beautiful falls and a fairly easy hike down the bottom which was my favorite view of the falls. There is another handicap accessible trail to the top of the falls which is also very picturesque but the best part of this outing was the trio of moose we came upon during the hike. There was a momma and her two... More

Despite being a late September weekday and pre 10am when we visited the parking lot was full and we had to wait for a spot. We had limited time so only took the easy trek down to the falls which were very pretty, especially in the morning sunlight. The drive up from Steamboat is pretty, not too far or too... More

Wish we would've had more time to spend at Fish Creek Falls. Walkways were very nice, They have put a alot of effort into making this a nice place to visit. You do get your exercise and can potentially see wildlife at the same time.

It's great to see such a beautiful, wide, accessible, paved path to the overlook above Fish Creek Falls. Kudos to the trail managers! The path to the bottom of the falls is steeper and unpaved, but worth wandering down for the gorgeous views. If you want a longer hike, head up the trail on the other side of the creek... More
