For families with small kids this is a really easy walk to the first falls. It's beautiful for pictures and actually used to be the waterfalls featured on the old coors can in the 90's. for a half day hike I recommend walking to the next big waterfalls. They are beautiful! I've heard for a full day hike there is... More

Wow!! What beautiful sites to see. The paved path that takes you to the first waterfall, is a nice easy walk with a couple different viewing spots.. Then if you're adventitious, when you go over the wooden bridge, take the dirt path off on your left. Going up to the second waterfall its about 5 miles and well worth the... More

Gorgeous!! Easily walkable & be sure to bring a camera and water bottle. The spray of the water and fresh smell of the falls compliment the beauty. A must see on a visit to Steamboat.

Little hike but worth it! Easy access and trail. Great views. Adequate parking. Dog friendly. Worth a look while in Steamboat Springs.

Beautiful place with both easy and moderate access options. Even in winter the flat trail to the overlook was so packed out that we walked out in tennis shoes. The lower trail to the creek and bridge was the same.

At least four feet of snow. The trail was easy enough for a three year old. The falls were frozen and covered with snow.

I loved walking the paths up to the different falls, [ I was there in October} It was a nice easy walk or you could power walk but you would miss so much of the beauty of the area. Take your time, take pictures and enjoy nature.

This was a last minute activity and filled the last two available positions(12). Sponsored by Yampitika, an environmental stewardship organization, four different activities are offered. The tour is moderately strenuous and half of the group failed to finish the 3 hour round trip activity. Altitude, over dressing and physical condition may have played a part in this however, anyone with some... More

Did a snowshoeing tour up to the uranium mine. It was very informative and the sites were beautiful. I would highly recommend the tour. Make sure you dress in layers so you can remove clothing as you can get very warm. SC-NH
