Absolutely fabulous experience! Worth every penny. Pilot, John Witte and the crew were excellent. Very safe, awesome views, saw a bull moose, elk herd and fish creek falls! I went with friends last week and I'm taking family this weekend!
We did this tour a few years back. It was amazing to view such scenery from an extraordinary view point. It was a blast. It was wonderful to view fish creek falls from above. Great tour. Would do it again! 10/10!
This was our first helicopter tour ever. Can't think of a better place to fly around than the beautiful Rocky Mountains! The folks and Zephyr were helpful and accomodating. Our pilot took us on a smooth flight over town and around the mountains. He answered...More

Hello and thanks for your question. We do helicopter tours based out of Bob Adams Airport in Steamboat and our rates are $600 for a half-hour tour, and $1200 for a full hour for the entire aircraft. We do not have a per-seat rate. On a half-hour tour, our guests will get a great view of town, the Ski Area, Rabbit Ears, Buffalo Pass, Fish Creek and the surrounding terrain. Or we can go out North and see the Zirkels, Hahn's Peak, Steamboat Lake, etc. During a one hour tour, we can cover all of the above, and give our guests a birds eye view of the entire area.
We fly a Bell 206L-3 helicopter, also known as a Long Ranger, and we can fit 4-5 average sized adults in the aircraft. If there are children or heavier adults, we will adjust those numbers. A good rule of thumb is approximately 800 pounds or less, which includes passengers and any baggage.
