always good to ride the gondola whenever you're in town. A good way to see the views, don't have to hike up or ski down. Attend a sunset happy hour or brunch, or just ride up, see the views, walk around and ride back down....More

Great in winter or summer. Can take mountain bikes up the mountain in summer, or skis in the winter. Some ride up and hike down, though you need to be very fit. I rode up and down after a nice picnic enjoying the view.

This is something that I did with friends late Summer. It's a bit expensive, but for someone who is somewhat disabled a good activity. At the top of the gondola is a path with an easy hiking trail...about a mile in length. There was a...More

You pay a lot but it's worth it, the staff are fantastic and it's so memorable. Shame we never got to do it in the summer, that would have been a fantastic experience.

I love going up the gondola, even during the summer. The views are great going up and down, day or night.

A beautiful and breathtaking ride to Thunder Lodge. Thursday included a special rate at 5 pm to view the afternoon sunset. The food was good also. But oh what a view

I'm not a skier but wanted to check the view from the top. There is a decent restaurant with a nice bar at the top.

The parking referred to above is the Knoll upper lot which gets full VERY early. Most of the parking is on the lower Knoll lot which has a free bus ride to the GTC, (Gondola Transit Centre)
