Beautiful view while waiting to get started on your runs for the day. Would be worth the ride for the view even if not skiing.

I always like to take the gondola in the a.m. Gets you up the mountain quickly and then you can ski to several lifts of choice. With an 8:30 start you can really get to the top quickly.Of course the views are incredible.

Took the Steamboat Gondola to the top to have breathtaking views at sunset! A blanket is even provided for the ride! Up top you can enjoy dinner at the restaurant while enjoying the winters wonderland mountains!

It would depend on what time of year you go. If your pass is still valid, then you are probably okay. If you pass has expired, then you will need to buy a gondola pass.
