As always a great way to get your skinny dipping fix and hippie watching quota. Service is cheery every time. Campsites are minimal but well maintained. Don't expect a bunch of nude models, just a relaxed bunch of normal folks who happen to be naked.

We have always really enjoyed coming here! Location is beautiful, hot springs are so relaxing, facility is well maintained and staff is always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying the night if you can. There is nothing like a hot soak under the stars and then being able to walk back to your room and crawl in bed. Getting a... More

Visited with two friends and enjoyed all 4 soaking areas as well as the sauna. We went after skiing Telluride for 4 days so the rest and relaxation was welcome. Be sure to hydrate before or while there. Price was very reasonable and there was a refund for staying less than an hour. Towel service was also very cheap and... More

The springs now cost $22 per adult for the day pass. The large outdoor pool is cleaned every other Wednesday. Best to call ahead as it is the largest capacity outdoor pool. We were there early and the crowd slowly grew. Pleasant staff and very laid back atmosphere. Clothing optional is no big deal outside. Many folks wear suits and... More

My spouse and I have visited Orvis many times and always enjoyed our stays. In December 2016, however, it changed. On a freezing Tuesday evening in December, well after sundown, the pools were PACKED. There were hardly any parking spaces available outside, and we had to walk across the ice-coated and slippery parking lot just to get in. When we... More

There are a lot of hot springs in the West....some of the finest are in Colorado. Visiting SW Colorado always includes at least one visit to a hot springs.....usually the public pools in Ouray or the Weisbaden. This year, though, we decided to try something different. Orvis Hot Springs is a few miles North of Ouray. Some people rave about... More

This is a unique place to relax and soak. Keep in mind it is clothing optional so if you have kids...well. That being said I saw few folks in the buff. The staff is wonderful and the grounds are lovely. I prefer to go at night when you can look up at all the stars when it is clear. They... More

This is a great day trip, if you are visiting Telluride and want a break from skiing, or you hit a week with poor ski conditions. The "tubs" are clean, people seem very nice and the employees are very helpful in getting youoriented. It is clothing optional, so not for everyone, but there is one indoor pool for clothing only.... Three nights in the Americana Room while mixing soaking with shopping and exploring Ridgway and Ouray. Bathrooms down the hall but not inconvenient. Great bed, refrigerator in the room. Great view of the mountains. Perfect staff. Multiple hot ponds, even one for kids and another for smokers. A hot pot. Sauna....massage, indoor hot pool.

Nice place with nice large natural soaking pool fed by hot springs. One smaller pool called the lobster pot. There is an outdoor dry sauna and indoor dressing rooms. The place is beautifully landscaped.
