I enjoyed the displays very much. The highlight of the tour is the B-29 that they have. One of the last few left around if you enjoy walking among classic aircraft then you should enjoy the museum. Staff was very helpful and have stories about...More
What an amazing place! We have lived here for several years and did not know that we had such an awesome place to tour! Such great historical pieces... not only airplanes—- but many other things!!! Great field trip for the kids!
Wish we had more time to see and read all that is there. We will definitely be going back. Lots of planes, and more to come. Interesting videos and lots of spin-off memorabilia. Our docent was very informative. Just about each piece has a story.
Highly, highly recommend you visit this museum. It has much more than you'd expect from an aviation museum in Pueblo. The all volunteer staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have vehicles and NASA SPACE displays. Too much to take in in a few hours....More
We stumbled on this gem on a day trip from Denver. We were exploring Pueblo and didn't even know this existed. We followed the signs and what a pleasant surprise. We were there on a Monday, so we where the only ones at the museum....More
Saw the museum on Trip Advisor and decided to make the detour. Love this detour. All volunteer staff who are knowledgeable made this a great visit. The B-29 and the F-15 and 16 were great planes to see close up. Who knew this would be...More
If you are in the area, and you like history, do not miss this. Great place. Make sure you grab the book on the museum that explains the aircraft and exhibits. It is for sale, but you can use it and return it. I wish...More
My husband and I visited this museum in Fall of 2017. We were in town for a wedding. Or sons were in school at the time so we told them about the museum and shared our experience here. They are huge history buffs. This year...More
Great planes, and they are in great shape. Good displays, friendly staff. We were greeted at the entrance by a 98 year old WWII veteran. It was an honor to visit the museum on the Fourth of July with my five year old. We had...More
The Greatest Generation is alive and well in this amazing facility. We were captivated and thrilled to have the honor to meet and listen to the fellows here. Had to keep remembering to close my jaw at the many and varied treasures housed at PWAM....More

I"m not a big fan of airport museums, but I did like the one in Pueblo. We rarely miss one if there's one to be seen. At Pueblo they have a really nice video of a B-29 that I watched and found really interesting (I bought a copy for my husband's Christmas present). The staff was very informative and had some nice things to tell me about the area and aircraft in the museum while my husband was looking at the displays. We also visited the Peterson Aircraft Museum in Colorado Springs and had a wonderful docent lead us around the facility explaining all of the aircraft displayed.
