A beautiful place for camping or just to spend the day fishing, picnicking or hiking. The grounds are clean and the lake is serene and calm.

Bear Lake is not far from Pueblo but it is worlds away because it is in the mountains. Once we were visiting and there was a bear on the road. It is a small lake but it is clear and beautiful. Great summer day trip.

This is place is hard to find. Dirt road to Bear lake and it is breathtaking. It is worth the find. There are two lakes in this area. The first lake is Blue lake then if you go further then you will find Bear Lake.

Rain was in the forecast the day we went so very quiet. The sun was shining creating a beautiful reflection of the yellow Aspen leaves on the still lake. An easy, short walk around the lake lets you just enjoy the beauty.
