Spent the weekend here and it's amazing. We took our RV and parked it just outside of San Isabel but went for day visits inside the Forest. The water (even as chilly as the air was) was beautiful (didn't get it...not until this summer). We...More

The natural water slide is fun. There are tons of hiking trails. Bishop's Castle is a must see. Please be respectful of the wildlife and people who live in the area.

My husband and I married here in a small, private ceremony five years ago. It was my first time visiting the area and we have been back several times since. It is always gorgeous with many new areas to explore each time.

The drive through here is beautiful. There was still snow and Lake Isabel was frozen but that didn't detract from the amazing views.

Was wondering how big the tent pads are at La Vista Campground. We have an 8 person tent that's 12×10. Hoping it fits!

They have sizes that are 8 person and 10 person so you should be fine :) If I remember correctly the 10 person tent only is no electric but they have a few 8 person that has electric if needed.
Hello, how far of a walk is it to the natural water slide? Where do you park to hike to it? Thank you.

Park at the lake, and follow the stream opposite the lake - it's less than 2 miles to the natural slide.
