This is a beautiful spot with amazing views for pictures and hiking. If you can pay for gas then there"s really no need to go spend a fortune while you're in Pueblo.

San Isabel is only 25 miles west of Pueblo. It has a beautiful lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The small restaurant next to the lake is wonderful and has really good desserts. If you like to fish - the fishing is great!

We had an excellent hike today, and the aspens are at peak color around the lake and up to 9,000'. Enjoy!

Nice moderate hike about 3 miles up to a water fall. A decent area to sit for lunch or a break. The “moderate” designation for this hike is the elevation change for about the first mile up, after that it is pretty pedestrian. About 6...More

The staff are very friendly and the campgrounds were very clean and in a very secluded wildlife area with dear running about and a stream running near. You can hear the stream and it is very soothing.Ok
