They only excavated 10% of the original city. You can wander the city and imagine how life used to be. 2 mosaics were open when we went there. Impressive view from the hill.

Don´t miss ancient Olynthos while you visit Chalkidiki mountain area. But don´t go while there is big heat.

This is the closest item of interest, it is quite a walk up from the car park so drinks are required. Enjoyable few hours wandering there.
