Dahican Beach is a part of the local political subdivision of Barangay Dahican in Mati City, Davao Oriental. Mati City is comfortably accessible by land via Davao City--a 2.5hours ride. Dahican Beach is only a 20-minute tricycle ride from the city proper of Mati. It would be faster if you ride a motorcycle or you have your own car. If... More

Clean and nice sand beach, the beach is ok, the color is so nice, no good for the entire family no good for kids the waves are very strong, just stay in the shore. If you have kids need attention. Warning beach. Good for couples or for adults no kids.

Dahican Beach is very beautiful but, sadly, the time we went there the water was very flat and the partner couldn't go surfing. Most of the resorts are rather pricey (not so much if you go there in groups). You can camp out at Amihan sa Dahican for 100pesos per tent but there were a lot of mosquitoes there. The... More

Before traveling out of Philippines this was the last place I have visited with friends. I could say we had a lot of fun. We even tremble inside the huge wave. Was captivated by the rising of the sun and how its hue changes everything over and beyond Its worth traveling and we really wanted to come back there soon.

We rented a car and took the risk of driving for 3hrs just to see for ourselves if what they say about Mati is true.. And it's all worth it! Boracay-like shoreline with clear blue water! Still uncrowded even if we went there on a Sunday. Paid P50 each for the entrance fee but we didn't bother to rent a... More

Want to experience bora-like beach? Well you don't have to go far and spend lots of money! In Mati City, Davao Oriental you wont regret visiting and stopping by at Dahican beach. It's blue clear water will make you feel relaxed and amazed. The white sand beach is also a good spot for picture takings!

I was in awe after seeing it from up above via the Ultralight Plane at Mindanao Saga Flying Club. Beach is not yet crowded unlike Boracay. Water is clear and sand is white and powdery. Only downside is waves can get higher like in Siargao which is suitable for surfing and because of that, It was a bit hard to... More

I like the fact that it is quiet and still fun at the same time. I've seen a gorgeous sunrise and the perfect waves. I don't swim and surf but I enjoyed that the waves can be quiet and playful at times. It's unpredictable! You can either choose to check in some of the resorts for comfort and facilities, but... When going to Dahican Beach, at MAti Davao Oriental you can either ride a bus or van. It took us 4 hours to travel with my family and friends. What i love most in Dahican beach was the blue water, white sand and the people were accommodating. The beach was owned by the LGU of Mati. It is a great... More
