If you're not totally in love in with hiking, then I would highly recommend this short easy stroll up the mountain and back again. It's just right for everyone. I always take my visitors here. It's a beautiful location!

Fairly easy hike with some elevation to get the blood flowing. Beautiful waterfall and right off the highway. Quick in and out stop if you don't have time for a several mile hike.

This is a popular place to stop and look at Treasure Falls. To the left of the parking lot is a trail climbing an overlook near the top of the falls. The best time to see the falls is during spring snow melt. A couple...More

This is such an easy thrill. To see the falls, all you have to do is pull a few feet off Highway 160. It can be a 5-minute (or less) visit if you're really pressed for time, so there's really no reason to miss it....More

Our friends, who just moved to Pagosa Springs a week ago, drive us out to Treasure Falls. It is a beautiful drive out and well worth visiting this gorgeous spot!

Treasure falls was a bit packed but well worth the trip. The falls are stunning, particularly in the fall. My husband and I loved it! Our puppies enjoyed it too.

Great short hike to get out and stretch the legs on. The path on the left side of the parking area is easier and a good way to go up. Once you cross the bridge at the base of the falls there is a primitive...More

Treasure Falls is a short drive outside Pagosa Springs in the San Juan Forest. It has two easy hikes and a beautiful lookout off the highway where I was able to do a painting and loads of photos.

A must see. Very beautiful! A lot of walking but well worth it. Make sure you go see the falls and then go to the outlook!

I would imagine regular hours as you do not want to be there too early or late. Go when the sun is shining as it's too slippery and dangerous at night. You will not find many safeguards anywhere there or elsewhere. Not to... More

There are no restrooms at Treasure Falls. There is a rest area with restrooms and picnic tables outside of South Forks, after going over a Wolf Creek Pass.
