A beautiful scenic drive to Treasure Falls! The hike was 1/4 mile and was kind of steep, but trail is well maintained. Not very powerful, but a pretty view.

Treasure Falls is literally right off of 160, just NE of Pagosa Springs. As we were heading that way, we decided to stop and check it out. They have a HUGE parking area right off the freeway that easily fit our RV. We walked down...More

Walked with a 3 and 4 yo. Got all the elements of a good hike in a 1/2 mile round trip. Not flat. Lots of switchbacks and thus places to rest. The falls are more or less interesting depending on the amount of water.

If you are wondering if it is worth the hike it absolutely is! It is a medium hike and is pretty much uphill and I almost gave up but it is worth it! You can go behind the waterfall!

Easy to get to, right on the highway. Really easy hike and fun to play in the water. Let the kids wear water shoes!

Had a fun like with the grandkids! Easy trail just don’t take the short cuts in the rain if your balance isn’t too good.

The water was really low, so the waterfall didn't look very full when standing at the parking lot. My husband hiked up the public trail to the mist deck in about 30 min roundtrip. The view was better when up close to the waterfall.

Treasure Falls is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely take the hike up because the view from the viewing platform does the Falls no justice compared to what you'll see when you get up close!

Hiked in with Grand kids to first level. Heard folks up at next level swimming so we went up there and kids got in the pool. It was freezing but beautiful It’s an easy access, short quick hike to an amazing waterfall. Don’t miss it

Stop by side of the road. Nice falls. Can take a hike closer if you want to spend more time. Easy and harder trails; I would have picked easy.

I would imagine regular hours as you do not want to be there too early or late. Go when the sun is shining as it's too slippery and dangerous at night. You will not find many safeguards anywhere there or elsewhere. Not to... More

There are no restrooms at Treasure Falls. There is a rest area with restrooms and picnic tables outside of South Forks, after going over a Wolf Creek Pass.
