Bring plenty of water and not suited for kids under 8, lots of strenuous uphills that will get your heart rate up. Path is well marked, views were spectacular, especially in the big meadow (you'll know what I mean) and high cliffs. Waterfall was unfortunately...More

We took two 80 year old parents and they did fine. As long as folks are confident of their balance on ground that is a little uneven, they will be fine!

Nothing to see at this time of year. Still was a nice stop to hike and enjoy nature. Shouldn't go in the summer

Due to the lack of snowfall, the falls were more of a trickle. Spring time I’m sure is a whole lot better. The hike is fairly easy that anybody can do, but senior citizens should plan on stopping once or twice to rest.

Close to town and easy hike with our 4 year old and 8 year old sons. There wasn't much water left in August, but our sons had fun "swimming" at the bottom of the waterfall anyway.

Easy to access. There are two trails, steep and main. We took the steep up, and the main trail back, with a 4 yo, and a 1 yo in a baby carrier. We saw a family take the main trail with a jogging stroller; the...More

Great little hike. Very beautiful vista of the valley and real pretty falls. Fairly good hike but able to do even for us low landers. You will need to rest 2-3 times. Only wish there were some bathrooms.

Enjoyed the hike and seeing the falls. Colorado has been in a drought so the falls were not very spectacular.

This is a short hike up to the falls. We went up the primitive trail and came back down on the main trail. Good hike for beginners. The area is in a drought so there wasn’t much water flowing but it was still nice to...More

We arrived mid morning and were able to find a parking spot easily. The trail was well kept and easy to maneuver, even with two dogs. We passed several people coming down and arrived at the falls within a short amount of time. There were...More

I would imagine regular hours as you do not want to be there too early or late. Go when the sun is shining as it's too slippery and dangerous at night. You will not find many safeguards anywhere there or elsewhere. Not to... More

There are no restrooms at Treasure Falls. There is a rest area with restrooms and picnic tables outside of South Forks, after going over a Wolf Creek Pass.
