We stopped in here as impulse on a rainy afternoon on our vacation. So glad we did. The artwork and history was amazing. I wasn't up much on Red Ryder except for the sled. Mr. Harmon made his living with the cartoon, but the quality...More

This Museum made my trip to Durango & Pagosa Springs (about 45 min.away). It is operated by the widow of Fred Harman's Son, who had recently passed. It exemplifies the word 'charming', as it's not only loaded with Red Ryder Antiques but, the original Artist's...More

We stopped by this museum and it did not disappoint. Ful of beautiful paintings by Fred Harmon and very interesting photos of Fred and different celebrities. Any comic strip buff would love this place.

We so enjoyed our visit and I hope more people will be visiting in the upcoming summer months. It not only houses wonderful historic artifacts, beautiful art and a charming hostess but has some original homestead buildings.

Great to go back in time and see the story of this artist. The tour was given by Fred's own descendant which made it full of personal stories of old! Little Beaver and Red Ryder live on here!

Unless you are a huge Red Ryder fan, there are better things to do in Pagosa! The "museum" is nothing more than a small house that doesn't have that much memorabilia.

Great museum if you are older and remember the " Red Rider" comic strip with " Little Beaver". The attendant at the museum was very friendly and informative, giving the history of the museum and Fred Harman. A very small museum but worthwhile.

This is just an old house where Fred Harman used to live. He is famous because he wrote the "Red Rider" comic strip. Not much to see there and I wanted it to be a good thing.
