After the sat nav took us to what seemed like a residential area we werent sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the scale of the sanctuary is really big, several pools and our boy loved the underwater viewing areas. Definitely recommend if you're in the area with small children. Plenty of open spaces to... More

I met the founder of this sanctuary, Ken Jones in the 1960 s at St Agnes where he started saving seals beside his home .Later it moved to Gweek It was interesting to see the hospital and the various areas where the seals are kept. , and the different species. There are also otters here too.

The kids loved it! A day of fun for all only down side is that it rained but didn't damper the kids.

Such a worthwhile place. Lovely to see all the hard work that goes into helping these wonderful creatures... and in a beautiful setting. Educational for the whole family.

My partner and I popped in one afternoon and had a great time seeing the animals and learning all about the great work the Seal Sanctuary does. It was well worth the money knowing it goes to a great cause.

We were in Cornwall for half term and the children (13years) really wanted to visit here so we booked tickets online in advance which saved a bit off the door price. Yes it's not that cheap for a couple of hours but we'd much rather pay knowing the money helps with rehabilitation of poorly seals than pay entrance to zoos... More

This is a really lovely and heart rendering place set in trees and open space with pools for the seals. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to answer your questions and share their stories of the seals. The first stop after a nice walk is the hospital where the sick pups and young seals are cared for until they are... More

Six or seven seal exhibits, a seal hospital, penguins and otters. Very steep hills, but there was a shuttle bus available. little on the pricey side for the size on the otherhand its a sanctuary. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. If you don't go to the keeper talks you'll have seen it all in less than an hour.

Visited the seal sanctuary not really sure what to expect with it being out of the main towns. However wasn't disappointed by the amount there! This time of year the bus wasn't running which is fine as it's about a 10 minute walk down to the seals downhill however fairly steep uphill to get back to main reception. The daily... More

We visited the seal sanctuary with 2 two year olds who loved seeing the seals, sea lions and penguins. We had 3 people in our group who had Merlin annual cards so got in free so we just paid for 3 people but £49 for the admission and a guide book I thought was a bit expensive. You have to... More
