Ever go to a museum where the delicate bones are to look at and not touch? Not here, which is perfect if you have 3 active kids like mine who completely gush over dinosaur anything. Full disclosure, I spent next to nothing to take them...More

Footprints, fossils - I was most amazed by the 'bulges' produced by brachiosaurus, just nuts. My son loves dino stuff so Ive got really into it to. Its free, its worth it.

We stopped at the Dinosaur Ridge Discovery Center on our way out of Red Rocks Park, spoke with the attendant, and picked up a map of the walking path of Dinosaur Ridge. There are options to pay for a tour guide, or you can park...More

My husband and I just visited Dinosaur Ridge this past weekend. If you have time, this is an interesting glimpse into our pre-historic past as well as learning more about how our continent developed. I definitely recommend spending the $10 for the bus tour. Much...More

We'd passed this site several times on previous visits so this time decided to stop. It's not signposted from the I70 but fortunately I knew where we were going. Apparently satnav also takes you to the wrong location. At first sight it doesn't look very...More

The road is pretty rough. You're more likely to eat asphalt riding down that stretch.
