I went with a large group from my conference on this railway. We were warned by our hosts that regardless of the temperature, we need to dress warm. Bring a bag with layers that you can put on as the train ride progresses, because the...More

This is one of the best places I've seen in Colorado. Most especially the train ride up to the peak. It's really cold up there so make sure to wear layers. It's one of a kind experience. I know everyone will say something about the...More

This attraction is unusual in the fact that how many times have you ever been able to ride in a Cog train? Your guided ride gives you amazing views. Once on top you can browse in the gift shop as well as have a snack...More

Amazing trip on the railway. The scenery was spectacularly bleak and also foggy. You can feel a bit light headed at the summit but the donuts and coffee were good. I imagine in summer it would be awesome. Well worth a visit.

Been wanting to do the hike up and down (or at least down) but time and weather have been against me every time I've been in the area. I at least wanted to get up and take in the views and was finally able to...More

Be sure to check the Cog Railway schedule. They closed this Winter for the first time in many years to do maintenance on the line. I do not know when they plan to reopen in the Spring.

Hi there, Thank you for your question. Our trains do not turn around at the summit, there is an engineer stand at both ends of the train. So if you're facing forward on the way up, you will be on the same side, going... More

Hi there, Thank you for your question. We do not have an age limit for the train so we do have people of all ages ride the train. If you have any other questions please call our ticket office. Thank you, Cog Railway
