I did it! In one hour and 42 minutes I slowly lumbered my way to the top. Getting creative by the end trying to find any muscle in my body I may not have used or exhausted. The further you go the more incline friends...More

My husband decided that we are climbing the manitou incline while vacationing in Colorado Springs. We are both physically fit, but we haven’t done any hiking. I was afraid of doing the incline because I have fear of heights . I am also 4’11 and...More

Brutal. Straight up the side of a mountain. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment at the top, and block out the memory of gasping for breath before pushing past the bailout point. Treat yourself to your guilty pleasure afterwards, you earned it.

The incline is not for beginners. This is a great workout for you if you hike. Beautiful views from the path, you can take a break along the way to catch your breath, just stand off to the side so others can pass you. The...More

This is an amazing hike - the view from the top is just breathtaking and it's such a great achievement to get to the summit. However, this hike is VERY difficult for the average person, and many people underestimate it - the gradient combined with...More

It definitely was a good workout...I'll give it that much. For my two cents, I would rather workout and hike in a place that wasn't so crowded.
