Great workout!

This is a serious climb and should be treated as such. I consider myself very physically fit, I made it up in less than an hour with my ten year old son with me. That was with small breaks. Don't try if you are not in shape at all. We enjoyed the challenge and the views and hike on the... More

This is hands down my favorite hike. It is a great challenge. I do this hike several times a year. It's best to get there early so you can actually get descent parking. Make sure to bring food and water. I always hike with my camelbak. It can get pretty hot once the daily sun starts to warm everything up.

Pretty awesome work out. We always wanted to do this and glad that we did. The whole experience was great and the sense of accomplishment is great also.

Very challenging, however, once you make it to the top, it seems all worth it, relieved and proud you made it. The view is spectacular. Don't focus on the time and ensure you take breaks when necessary. The trail down the path is 4.5 miles.

From CA and not used to the altitude! It was awesome! Unfortunately, we arrived later than expected so for to "half way", which is really more than half way, and took the trail back just in time for darkness. It was a challenging blast and we could have gone to the top! I would do it again!

By far one of the most challenging things I've ever done. The climb is super steep and even though I've lived in CO for almost 10 years, the elevation gain hit me. Bring a ton of water, snacks, start early, take your time and stop whenever you need to. Don't forget- there's a trail hike down- over 4 miles- so... More

I hate climbing stairs. I would never ever go to the incline, but for those who enjoy climbing there isn't a better location to do so. I think they increased the pricing for parking and in beautiful weather it is crowded.

This was a fantastic hike! My husband and I took our 8 and 10 year olds. We made it about 1/3 of the way up. The altitude made us all feel a little sick, and of course being from Florida it was difficult to breath lol The steps are covered in gravel which makes it very slippery in spots. My... More

If you don't live in Colorado, be prepared to embarrass yourself. The base elevation is 6500 feet with a 2000 foot climb in .88 miles. START SLOW to avoid looking like an 80 year old with emphysema by the time you reach the bail out point. This is a wonderful attraction for the mere sense of accomplishment that one feels... More

Very intense workout. My girl told me it was difficult, but I thought how bad could it be. I'm asthmatic and had a cold. I thought I would pass out a couple of times. Ensure you are healthy to tackle this climb. It's no joke!
