Discovered in 1881, Cave of the Winds has been a premier Colorado attraction for more than a century. Explore amazing caverns, experience total cave darkness, and marvel at the beauty of formations hundreds of thousands of years old. Then step outside and walk on the wind on the Wind Walker Challenge Course, fly like a bat on the Bat-a-Pult Zip Line, and dive into Williams Canyon on the one of a kind aerial dive ride, the TERROR-Dactyl. Lots of family fun, amazing views and memories to last a lifetime!

My family had a lot of fun there. Good for a 3 to 4 hour visit if you do the ride and climbing. The only reason we didn't give a 5 is because the guide Jim lost about 8 of us on our cave tour. We left with a different group and missed 3 if the bigger caves.

We went strictly for the cave tour. 45-50 tour with very informed guide! Not for those who are claustrophobic since there were lots of tight spaces. My tall husband had a few issues bending down far enough to get through some places. Bring a jacket even in warm weather - it is cool in the cave!

Stopped here on a family getaway with 11 family members ranging in age from infant to 60. We did the discovery walk and our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. Tour was fairly easy, interesting and educational. The rope coarse and terror-dactyl looked amazing (closed for winter) we may come back in the summer to try these.

This is a terrific place located on HWY 24 in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Fun for the family and friends. Be sure and experience the "Bat-a-pult" . Don't eat a big lunch first though. Prepare for excitement!!!!!!!!!!!

Some beautiful nature and wonderful scenic views for sure. It's a climb up the mountain, but I think worth the trip for the views and of some mountain cave dwelling sights.

The entire experience is great. I went with my fiancé and had a wonderful time. Not the best place to go if you're not able to bend your knees for minutes at a time to crawl through tunnels. Our guide was really awesome.

Lantern tour was both interesting and exciting. Staff provides excellent customer service and prices are relatively low.

The tour in terms of what Cave of the Winds provides was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. And the caves are definitely an experience. There were people in our group that brought flashlights on the lantern tour and were speaking when the tour guide was. The tour guide should have stepped up and stopped both of those... More

I have actually been to the Cave of the Winds before and did the discovery tour. It was two years ago but I remembered it was cool so I decided to bring my 15 year old daughter and husband with me for the Lantern Tour to see deeper into the cave. The guide was great and kept the lore to... More
