I love going through the Doherty museum. It is a car museum with a great display and a lot of cars. They are not open on a regular schedule, so check before you go!

When we visited, the volunteer showed us around and told us about the cars. I was so impressed by the knowledge of the volunteer and the pristine quality of the classic vehicles. It was a pleasure to visit this hidden museum.

This is a great place to visit. The old cars are wonderful to see, along old farm equipment. They also have old organs and pianos. It's well worth the time. They are only open in the summer, so check the time and dates.

Wonderful place to spend 2-3 hours browsing at old cars, tractors and other antiques. Educational for kids, memory inducing for seniors and just plane fun for everyone else. Can be really warm inside during hot summer days so recommend going early in the summertime. Requires...More

This place is incredible. And gigantic. What a variety of large, historical items. You need to picture what it would have been like to actually use some of this stuff. Lots of crazy farm implements, horse drawn contraptions that look like Rube Goldberg machines, and...More

There are so many things to look at in this museum. It may be interesting only to a limited population, but it is enough to keep you amazed for an hour or so.

Dougherty Museum is an odd bird. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the summer months. There is a $5 entrance fee, but that is well worth it.
