The museum has changing exhibits and the grounds are a living-history museum. One can see the progress made when visiting the 1890s after having visited the 1860s farm. Quite a change. It is a peaceful place to visit often.

If the weather is nice and not too hot, at least two hours. There is a blacksmith, pigs, chickens, old school house. If it is raining or super hot there are still things to do inside.
