A really fascinating museum in the heartland of the original goldrush. Full of fascinating exhibits and very revealing historical information. I was spellbound for several hours. Well worth the effort to get there

If you are a history buff, stop by the Heritage Museum to learn a little bit about Leadville. There is a rich history of silver mining and how the town came to be. Don't forget the railroad, and the infamous "Unsinkable" Molly Brown.

An eclectic mixture of interesting material on Leadville. A lot of reading if you want the detail. The lady curator is interesting and informative. She is very proud of Leadville.
