This is a nice area where you can take a self tour and learn a lot about the early settlers of the south and how they lived. I highly recommend coming out when there are special events happening.

If you are interested in Trail history, this is a must see! Restored buildings right along the path of the Santa Fe Trail. Excellently done.

I have visited Boggsville several times in the past 10 years, and after visiting this weekend, am happy to see how much the exhibits have been improved upon. There is more signage that explains the fascinating story of this small community, that is one of...More

We went to the 150th anniversary of Boggsville complete with blacksmithing, authentic entertainment, and wagon rides. Delicious lunch was served consisting of varied chilis and stews. Special dedication for long time archaeologist Richard Carrillo who passed away in 2014. This site speaks to the true...More

My wife and I stopped here before going to Bent's Old Fort NHS (which is really great). The place looked abandoned, except for a small trailer towards the front of the property that showed signs of habitation. Everything was overgrown and the trails/paths were unkempt....More

This attraction provides a historical walk back in time. It's a self paced walking tour with great educational signs. A quick stop for a lot of learning !

This rustic place has potential and that is about the best that can be said. I did not particularly find it worth the stop especially after visiting Old Bent's Fort. But it could be an excellent place with time and money to make it so.
