These trails will test your pulmonary function, that's for sure. Beware that there is no shade, so wear a hat and bring water. View is excellent at the top. In the summer, it gets very dry up on Green Mountain, so be mindful that this...More

Hayden Park is a valuable section of open space in the western suburbs of Denver. It occupies the first major foothill as one heads into the Rockies from the east. It is accessible by car and bike. The Park has both positives and negatives. On...More

Great walk up to the top. Be careful if you come with your dog that you keep them on the path. When it warms up there are rattlesnakes on and off the path.

Very good for hiking, biking. Close to town. Good for exercise, you can walk or run uphill and downhill.

The mountain bike riders need to slow down and heed to the hikers better. They get dangerous flying down the hills and around the blind corners.

Don't pick up anything you didn't bring in, clean up after your pets (that means take it with you), and take water. You'll have a great time.

Hiked this with my sister, and I’m not in the greatest shape, but I made it! Had to stop a few times since we are from the east and the altitude was an issue, but going slow worked. We had water with us, only had...More

Have been hiking at Green Mountain Park for dozens of years. It is consistently one of the hiking areas that I recommend for its Goldilocks' type hiking (i.e., not too easy, not too hard) and vistas of the Denver metro area. It has a longer...More

I like to use this for exercising, it isn't the prettiest views, but HILLY! you can really get some vertical climb and or ride your bike peacefully, with challenges here and there.

Yes, but not on the heavily traveled walking/bike path. The fishing area and woods around Pelican Point are relatively quiet during the week and would be great.

Yes. Dogs in leash are fine. Just be sure to pick up after your dog and watch for rattlesnakes in the warm months
