No one in the group that we were with found any gold today but the 2 young ladies that we saw were very personable and knowledgeable and made this a good visit

Great, cold, impressing tour. Nice tourguide who had an enormously knowledge about the mines, the minerals and the history.

We enjoyed our tour. Learned lots. It wasn't a long tour but interesting. Neat to learn why its not currently in use (and I think they are making good use of it till then) and how it came about with the history. Our tour guide has a vast knowledge of the subject, if not a little wordy. Enjoyed the panning... More

Awesome. And that was a period following awesome! Several tour guides...ours was Hank. Aweeeesome!! Anyone who writes a bad review must be biasedly basing their review on an outlier experience or their own personal issues (i.e. stuck up, bad day, bird pooed on their car windshield while parked, etc). Very very very informative. Much more so than I was expecting.... More

Great tour! Hank was an awesome guide, very entertaining and informative! It can be chilly in the mine so I would bring a jacket.

Now I know that Indiana Jones never really went gold mining but this mine was a true adventure. Beyond the outskirts of the town, this ran down, tucked away, mine, is nothing to miss. For 10 bucks, this gold mine is rustic with many assets hands on! Great for Kids! The best part was gold panning at the end. There... More

Great time at the mine. Wonderful tour guide. Did some gold panning in the stream and it was fun. We found a little gold! The water was super cold though in April. Would have stayed all day long if we hadn't had other plans. Going back in January, but I'm sure it will be way too cold to pan.

This tour was fun, exciting, and very informative! The guide was excellent. He was so friendly, and so excited about mining! My two daughters, ages 15 and 12, thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it if you're ever in the area!

Had a great tour with Hank......lots of history here and a great deal for only $10 a person. When your done with the tour continue up the road for a beautiful ride past a bunch of other mining history!!!
