Walk around the wharf. Go shopping. Buy lobster. Drink until your heart's content. Watch the tide come and go! What a wonderful place.

A must see area if you are visiting Halifax. Nice amenities: boat/kayak tours, boardwalk, restaurants and bars.

I am never disappointed when I come here for an ice cream or go beach combing or to grab some lunch. The little gift shops are so cute, shop keepers are so friendly and always have time for a chat. Love it here.

We enjoyed our visit to Fisherman's Cove. Quaint little shops with art and gifts. Loved the bright coloured buildings. Nice location right on the water. We ended up coming here twice. A definite must when visiting the Halifax area.

Picturesque and colourful. Great to take pictures of boats and shops. Fresh air and walkable. The place to visit amid a community of oil companies.

We've been in many places in Annapolis Valley and the South Shore of Nova Scotia but the place I've liked most so far after Halifax, of course, is Fisherman's Cove. The location close to Halifax and only about 20 minutes drive from downtown when there...More

We used the GPS on the vehicle. If you have a smart phone you can also use Google maps to navigate for you. Otherwise the route seemed quite complex.

It is a 25 minute car ride from downtown Halifax (cruise docks). If you take the ferry from Halifax to Dartmouth and the #60 bus it will let you off about a 1/2 mile from the area, otherwise you really need a taxi... More
