Grand Lake Nordic Center offers 35km of groomed scenic ski trails. One of our favorite trails "River Run" is parallel and crosses the Colorado River. We also offer snow shoe trails and a tubing hill. After skiing you may relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate along with a scenic panorama view of Rocky Mountain National Park.

I loved this place. My kids (ages 12, 15) liked the sledding hill. It isn't huge or super fast. They were definitely the oldest kids on it, but it was a fun one. Not too scary and the price is right (free, they accept donations)....More

The Nordic Center is awesome. Just a short hop from downtown. Reasonably priced rental equipment with friendly staff. My wife had never skied before and loved it.
