Good Layout, Tough Pins

Nice course in great setting - lots of interesting holes and a lot of tough pin positions and tricky greens. Watch out for the green on Hole 5 - I managed to 5 putt :-(

This is a Jim Eng design, which means a "tricked-up" golf course. Rarely was it possible to know the green location from the tee. On one par three not even the top of the flag stick was visible from the tee; we had go forward and get a line-of-sight using the chimney of a house behind the green. At least... More

This is an absolutely breathtaking course, with views of the Colorado National Monument at every turn. The pro staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We've set up a couple of small tournaments for work and they were so easy to work with. The course is one of the most challenging around so bring a lot of balls! But you will... More

When I stopped into the ladies room the first day we played, I noted they had a page from a magazine framed that awarded Redlands Mesa one of the top ladies courses in the US. I was skeptical at first, as I have played some great course, but Redlands Mesa did not disappoint. I even beat my husband for the... More

Engh doesn't move a lot of dirt. He settles courses into the natural topography of the land. This one is not for the faint of heart since there are plenty of interesting carrys. On #14 you must clear a notch to see the dog leg right green. If you don't your 2nd shot is a blind one over tall boulders.... More

This golf course is a must play course if you are in the area of Grand Junction. We had stopped here overnight on our way into the Colorado mountains, so we decided to play the course. Almost every hole had a tremendous elevation change, with accompanying incredible views of the mesas. The only negative I found, was that the cart... More

This is a Jim Engh design classic. Every hole is a beauty. I was matched up today with a wonderful dad, mom and daughter. The daughter is on the college golf team here. What a thrill it would be to get to play Redlands Mesa as your home course.

Redlands Mesa golf course is located in the foothills just a few miles southwest of Grand Junction, Colorado. This Jim Engh designed public course is in a beautiful setting with great view in every direction. Green fees are very reasonable for a Golf Digest top 100 public course. Although we walked the course, there are a lot of elevation changes... More

Jim Engh designs are blends of what nature can offer and what Jim can create. This course is exactly that. A true treat in Grand Junction, Colorado Dramatic elevations changes and a few of the most unusual tee boxes I have ever played(17th) It's a must play.

I'm going to start out by saying I'm not a great golfer. I swing in the low 100s and I could enjoy this course. My dad and brother are bogie golfers and they both enjoyed it as well. The 18 hole rate with a Cart was as good or better than many of the average courses that I play at... More
