Unfortunately, we got there a bit late and got half way through this BIG Museum. :( It was really worth the time to hit this one. Very nicely done, kid friendly in many aspects as well. A definite see if you are traveling through the Grand Junction area and have a couple of hours to spend.

Went through this one in about 40 minutes. Good signage on the exhibits, and enjoyed the weapons exhibit. A lot of native displays.

We rushed through due to travel pressure but enjoyed our brief visit. There is a good collection of things from western Colorado including firearms.

Took the grand kiddie for a quick visit. He loved the stage coach, the plane and the mine. Well set out, interesting local history.

Very good Museum with an excellent collection of the west's history. With a special focus on western Colorado the museum takes you through the timeline of the grand valley and its development over time.

That same afternoon we had a couple of hours to kill but didn't want to go all the way back to our hotel. We decided to check out the museum and were glad we did! From Native... More
