We are horse owners and ride competitively so we weren't sure what to expect when we booked a three hour ride. We were pleasantly surprised when we got a great ride through some beautiful country on very nice horses. We would highly recommend high country trails as a great experience at a super value. Rebecca showed us some beautiful country... More

Took my 11 year old granddaughter on a two hour horseback ride. She had never been on a horse. Our guide, Rebecca, did a great job helping her, conversing and showing us lovely country. I wanted a mountain and woods ride, and that is exactly what we got. I got some sore muscles straddling a horse for that long, but... More

We have been on trail rides all over the US, in national parks, on beaches, in state parks, private concessions, etc -- but this was by far the best experience we've ever had. With the help of Dale and his AMAZING crew, we created a wonderful memory for our family -- two in our 60's, two thirty-somethings, and 4 very... More

I went here with my 14 year old and 10 year old. This was the first time riding for the 10 year old. After a brief instruction, we were on our way. It was too intimidating for my 10 yo so the guide quickly switched gears and arranged her to be 'pony led.' She was able to calm down and... More

Had a wonderful 2 hour ride with these folks. Two daughters (9/14) both had great instructions and help from Olivia, our guide. They always felt comfortable and had a blast. We did trails that were fun and challenging enough for everyone, learned about the local flora and just had such a great time. We were greeted very politely, and all... More

Did a 3 hour ride with my husband and son. Stefan(spelling) was our guide. The stable was clean, the horses were in great condition and the ride was beautiful. I cannot wait to go back!

My mom, sister and I recently did a 3 hour trail ride here and it was awesome! We told Dale we were experienced riders who were up for a little adventure - and we got it! Our trail covered great scenery, following elk and deer trails in places, and actually required active riding. The horses were good, responsive and used... More

The staff was great, horses are pleasant and the view alternated from wooded to beautiful. The horses would gladly follow nose to tail but don't mind being steered off on their own a bit. Most of the trip was in wooded area, with a little on dirt roads. Very personable staff.

My husband and I chose this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and emailed them for info. Immediately knew we wanted to do the cattle drive after reading the description. The ride went above and beyond our expectations!! Dale and Pop were great and we had a blast! Lunch was great and we will probably never be able to do a... More

Dale gave my wife and I the ride of our lives! We signed up for a two hour ride, expecting the typical easy tour ride. (We saw one of those as we were headed for our trip, looked boring) What we got was a trip up to the top of a mountain on trails we often blazed ourselves! It was... More
