So family friendly. Wherever you stay 10 mile creek, Kicking Horse, or base camp very easy access to tons of activities. The skiing while limited in terrain has something for everyone. Also all runs funnel to one base camp so impossible to get lost or end up anywhere but main base area. When not Holiday weekend low traffic and supremely... More

We stayed in the area for Christmas-New years week 2015 and skied at Granby, Winter Park and Breck during the week. Granby is a nice little ski resort and has a variety for long and fun blue and green runs. There are only really two lifts however that transport skiers up to these runs (and the couple black runs) so... More

This is a very family oriented place. The ski terrain is varied from the most gentle slopes for the beginners to more challenging mogul fields.. There are multiple lifts that help keep the lines short. The ski instructors are well trained and patient. There is a heated, outdoor pool and spa next to the base lodge for after the slopes... We had such a great time mountain biking all over the trails at the ranch. The kids could do so many of the trails no problem (our first real outing -- ages 12/14). Winter Park was super fun and the lake is gorgeous! Keep in mind the lifts close at the end of Sept so we were going UP and... More

Everything is well groomed and cared for. Nice they offered free chair lift rides while we were there in September. My son was here in May and they were being offered then also. Watch for the sign out by Route 40 with phone number for free Chair Lift rides...but otherwise go to BASE CAMP (well marked along the road). Wedding... More

We spent half a day at Granby Ranch. We rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain and hiked down. The hike down the mountain was easy enough that our 10 and 7 year old kids could hike with us. We then took a round trip ride on the ski lift to enjoy the nice cool summer day.... More

This is a beautiful place. The resort is mostly a ski place but it is open year round with plenty to do in the warmer months. The ranch has all kinds of places to stay including year round housing. There is a lodge, houses, apartments, condos and more. It is close to Granby and Granby lake which has excellent fishing. We... More

Our daughter's wedding was at the top of Vista Ridge at Granby Ranch. The venue is spectacular and the Granby Ranch staff is wonderful to work with. Everything from the initial planning to the conclusion of the reception was smooth and easy. The food menu was terrific and everything served during the reception was great. The venue with the ride... More

This is a family run place, and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. Before you hit Winter Park (which is a great ski resort), consider Granby if in the area. No crowds.
