As we were climbing up, a lady going down said "Well, that was a steep hike to a creepy graveyard". I don't know if I agree about creepy, but this was a steeper hike than I had expected. It took us about 15 minutes - but youngsters will be up there in less than 10 minutes, I am sure. The... More

If you're hoping to visit the site where one of the west's most colorful and enduring characters is buried you might be mildly disappointed when you get there. It seems that while they're sure Doc Holiday is buried in Linwood Cemetery, they don't have any idea exactly where he is buried. Don't let that deter you, it's still a nice... More

Fun little hike, we found it funny that they don't actually know where Doc Holliday is buried. Had fun wandering around the graveyard, great view of Glenwood!

This graveyard is always an interesting hike and place to visit. Take paper and a pencil and do some tombstone tracings on your paper. There's many interesting tombstones to see.

there are fantastic views at the top of the mountain. Interesting to see the different graves. The monument to Holliday is just that not the actual grave as that is somewhere else in the graveyard. It is quite a strenous walk up to the cemetary so take lots of water with you.

Who doesn't like history of the old west and who hasn't heard of Doc Holliday? If you are in Glenwood Springs and want a chance to see some local history it is well worth the hike.

This was such a great experience for a girl like me who grew up knowing every word to Tombstone and all things Earp and Holliday and Butch and Sundance. I was geeking out at all the mementos left on Doc's headstone and the peace that was afforded him in this cemetery. On the other end of the cemetery you'll find... More

I'm a fan of all things Doc Holliday, and was super excited to see a shotglass next to his grave still full, and a bunch of playing cards.
