After a long hike gaining 1000' in elevation we arrived at Hanging Lake. Very beautiful lake up on the side of the canyon formed by several waterfalls creating this beautiful lake. It's like an oasis in the middle of a desert. Warning! As tempting as...More

What a treat after a 1 mile uphill climb. You will want to take this journey if you're in the Glenwood Springs area of Colorado. Bring plenty of water to drink for the hike up/down.

Trash, graffiti, crowded, rude people, and graphic language flying freely. Leave it to humans to ruin what was once a beautiful landmark.

This place is incredible, and definitely worth the 1.2mi hike up to the top. One of the more picturesque place I have had the pleasure of witnessing. If you like the outdoors, waterfalls, and beautiful canyon scenery you will certainly love this place. 10/10 recommend

Very beautiful and unexpected. Not necessarily a "must-see" but worth the stop if you have time in your trip.

The hike up to the lake is pretty tough but well worth it. As long as you take some picture breaks along the way, you can make it. I advise that you arrive around 6am or earlier or the parking lot will be full and...More

Okay, so not too much color change last weekend. Still very green! I would give it another week to start seeing some real change...especially if the nights begin to get cooler.
