Yampa vapor caves in Glenwood Springs is the perfect way to relax and unwind. Each visit has been special and quite spiritual. Many caves to choose from, with varying temps. The Solarium is a great place to cool off and relax after a cave. The...More

Sitting in the vapor caves is not for everyone. They are dark, steamy, and very hot. But, if you are a "sauna buff", then you must experience the Yampa Vapor Caves. Cost was $15/person and you can stay as long as you wish (or can...More

We've driven by the Yampah Vapor Caves building for years while visiting the Springs pool, and never gave it a second thought. But this time we decided to go in and try it. We just went for the caves, not for the spa, although we...More

We are vacationing here for the therapeutic benefits that the hot springs and vapor caves may provide as anti-inflammatories. The vapor caves are 115 degrees with 100% humidity. The staff took us on a tour before we booked our appointments for the following day--just to...More

This place is a must-see if you are in Glenwood Springs. The caves are ancient and were discovered by the local tribes hundreds of years ago. You must be physically able to withstand the heat, but to sit in the caves and let the toxins...More

This was my second visit. I enjoyed very much the first time about a year ago but not nearly as much this time. I am pregnant now so that influenced my opinion. Most notably, the solarium where you cook off or wait for massage or...More

Relaxed in the Vapor caves before our 85 minute massage, had Sarah as my massage therapist and thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have never been worked over so well!

Loved the vapor caves! quiet and relaxing. A very unique experience. Had a massage and body wrap, good experience but not sure if it was worth the money. Next time I'll just enjoy the caves.

To get down to the caves I am not sure if there is an alternate way from the stairs that we had to take. I would contact them directly.

Go with as little as possible. Swimsuit-that's it and use their changing room. Use their robe and white flip flops. Check out the monthly special and get the massage.

Towels and robes are provided. Personally I'd bring my own flip flops for comfort!
