Was a fun tour! Both adults and kids had fun. My sister found a rock that she broke open and actually found gold.

If you make your way into Georgetown, plan to stop by here! We were worried about taking our 3yr old and 6yr old because they don’t do well in your normal walk through/talk tours. The entire time they were involved in this tour and the...More

Knowledgeable and personable guide on tour; encouraged and gave opportunities for hands on as well as picture taking. Not rushed, all questions answered, very personalized. Saw and learned things I've not experienced on other "canned" tours. Even walked away with a rock containing gold!!! Strongly...More

My grandson, Nick Dohr, And his friend, Tate Berhorst, and I were given a great tour of the Capitsl Prize mine yesterday. It was done extremely well, and we learned a lot. It was an outstanding experience, and our photos are attached.

Thanks CharMarty!. I'm glad we all had fun on the tour and I enjoyed chatting with the both of you afterwards. Also thanks for the marketing "talk" and your advice. I hope I70 traffic didn't spoil the rest of your day.

This is one of those places that you can say you "found" before everyone else did. My partner is a rock fiend, so we make a detour here. This was an incredible tour of an active mine. Tour guide was very informative and ready to...More

I'm glad you stopped by on your cross-country journey. Most people have some degree of being claustrophobic; that's what makes going underground so exciting! You never told me but I'm glad you got through it.
