This tour was well worth the time. I am love getting the inside scoop on old buildings like this. Was very impressed with the restoration and period furnishings provided. Our tour guide was great. The tour does not take long, maybe 1 to 1.5 hours as it is not a large place.

Great value to step back in history to learn about the entrepreneurial spirit which thrived in the west. Kevin Kuharic, the executive director of the museum, gave a well paced fascinating tour. From the original inventory one could see century old artifacts and hotel fixtures which were seemingly ahead of their time. I live in nearby Silverthorne. I'll be sure... More

Interesting tour, friendly folks. Well worth the time and price. Enjoyed the history. AAA says associated with Hamill House. They're not.

We had some time after the train tour so decided to take the last tour of the day at this hotel museum. What a wonderful time capsule of turn of the century living. And the wonderful thing about this museum is its almost all the original pieces, unlike many places who have recreated the look of the time period. I... More

Interesting but slightly strange. Historic means different things to Americans and those from Europe. Great guides with good knowledge

This place very well preserved but not air conditioned. Guides are knowledgable. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you see. Still worth the time. No photography allowed. Too bad.

This is a great place to visit. The hotel contains many original artifacts. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable. He explained the history of the area as well as the history of the hotel.

We were treated to a fabulous, facinating, educational tour by Kevin, the Museum Curator . The Hotel de Paris is a showplace of a time when Millionaires slept and dined there ...when fortunes in Silver and Gold were what fueled Georgetown and the West . This place is a "slice of time".and furnishings are about 90% original!!! There is also a small... More

Loved this frozen-in-time hotel. Highly recommend for anyone with a love of history. Or cellars. If they have time, the tour guide can take the group down into the cellar - fantastic.

Georgetown is a gem of a Victorian mountain town and this local museum is one of the places which make the town special. It is well worth spending the time to learn about the hotel and the town.
