Scenic train ride. Really nice views. They celebrated Oktoberfest when we were there so ticket came with hot dog/brat and free beer samples. Had a stand with pretzels but don’t recommend - worst soft pretzel ever.

We went in early October and it was freezing cold outside but it made the mountains look wonderful. It is 100% worth the upgrade to ride in the parlor cars. They are warmer and you get to sit a table vs bench seating. The snacks...More

The journey is not very long and there're a couple of intermediate stops to enjoy the mines for example. I recommend the guided tour to the mines along the journey. Enjoy everything. You can choose to sit in the open cars... More
