This was my first time skiing and it was a good time. Loveland Ski Area has two different sets of slopes. The valley is for beginners and basin is for amateurs to pros. I had a difficult time, but the slopes are very well taken...More

this is a great mountain for all capabilities. it is like a huge bowl surrounding the east entrance to the Eisenhower Tunnel. everything you can see is available to ski. there is no lodging here therefore predominately locals go here. the vibe is great although...More

Got to visit here on their final day for the season with a friend of mine. I'm not a very experienced snowboarder, but the friend I was with is, and we both had a great time. Not the biggest place, but with enough runs for...More

Closest resort to Denver so can get very crowded. Small area with only 9? lifts. all of which are old and very slow. They seem to be like most of the US areas and not have safety bars on the chairs which is odd coming...More

This was my first time at Loveland. It was late season so the lift ticket was only $59. We really wanted to try the valley area but it was closed and we didn't see anything about that before we went. The basin area was good...More

Can't beat free cat skiing. Not for beginners but if you know what you're doing this place is awesome!

I love this area. Unpretentious, great snow, It is consistently the coldest area in Colorado. Most lifts are above tree line and the wind whips over the divide. The runs are also on the shorter side.

I make it a point to ski Loveland. Staff is always friendly. Almost never crowded. I took a half day lesson there a few years back which was excellent. Plenty of terrain to keep it interesting. The four packs make it the most reasonable ski...More

Loveland is the perfect local ski resort. It's small, great for beginners, and typically isn't mobbed with crowds (especially on weekdays). We went on a Thursday and had a wonderful day. This isn't a resort, so you'll trade crowds and high prices for a smaller...More

It is not a staycation resort like Breck or WP. It does not have a hotel. We love it bc it's not crowded... a local spot for the most part. But don't let that fool you.. It's large and has lots of expert terrain. Hope this... More

I have skied at Loveland since I was 12. It is the closest ski area to Denver, and about 55 miles from my house located in the very NW corner of the city. You could stay in Denver, Lakewood or Golden to be closest to I70 to... More
