This resort was great! The staff were all great. We ate breakfast there and was very impressed. The prices were very affordable for everything, lessons, clothing and equipment rentals and especially the food! The trails were great. They have some really good black diamond and double black diamond runs. The beginner area in the Valley was one of the best... More

I can't say enough about Loveland Ski Resort. Super friendly and helpful staff, the mountain is amazing with so many different slopes. As a newbie to snowboarding, my 4th time, this resort has it all. The rental process was fun and efficient, lots of easy and not so easy runs for me, lockers to store your excess gear, food, drinks,... More

Our family loves Loveland! This was our first trip to the snow and our first time every snowboarding. I booked adult group lessons for me and my husband, teen lessons for our 13 year old twin boys and child lessons for our 7 year old daughter. The group lessons were very hands on, and the instructors were so thorough. They... More

After skiing for a few years at St. Moritz, I was amazed at the amount of snow at Loveland. The site is located between 3200m and 4000m, and has enormous amounts of snow. The area has two sections (need a car between them) - the Valley, for beginners and those who haven't skied in a while, and the Basin for... More

Loveland Ski Area is just West of Georgetown, CO. It has two separate areas. One caters to beginner and intermediate skiers. The other has beginner to expert runs. Much of the main area is above tree level. On the runs with the highest altitude, the wind can sometimes make visability difficult. Loveland gets a lot of snow and is careful... More

I'm 27 and I had never skied before so I was pretty nervous. . There are two different areas you can ski in - the basis or the valley. We chose the valley since it's suppose to be a little more beginner friendly. I had a great time (even though) I fell quite a bit! The staff were really patient... More

We were at Loveland Ski Area over MLK weekend--one of the busiest of the year, and yet the organization was so good that the crowds were never a bother. Lots of staff, very friendly and competent; everything worked smoothly and enjoyably. Except for the lift used by the ski school in the beginner area, we encountered almost no lift lines.... More

We researched many different ski resorts to book a beginners lesson since we are from Florida. When I booked the reservation, the ladies that were answering the phone were so friendly they were basically angelic, making us even more excited to visit. Upon arrival after a grueling gridlocked 2.5 hour trip from Denver, is when all of that changed! We... More

Loveland ski area has plenty of slopes for all skill levels, plenty of instructor's providing paid ski and snowboarding lessons. Several lifts to take you all over the mountain. Lots of parking and shuttles to take you to the different areas for the lifts. Good for singles, friends, families, couples
