What a little gem of a place to birdwatch. Lovely, well-tended trails. The Volunteers at the Nature Center pointed out all the good spots. Nice, clean bathrooms. So many red-wing blackbirds calling in the cattails. Stop off, take a look around the Nature Center, ask...More

A sunny autumn day is a great day to hike the mostly flat and level trails through Fountain Creek Regional Park. The parking lot at the Nature Center was almost full, but I had no trouble getting off by myself. I did meet hikers on...More

Always a peaceful walk filled with lots of animals that kids can seek out on the trails. Bring bug spray if walking around dusk as the bugs enjoy hanging around people.

We live 15 minutes from this place and didnt really discover it until recently. This place is great, an amazing wetlands ecosystem in Colorado. The walking trail immediately accessible off the Nature center is the Cattails Marsh Wildlife Area and dogs are not allowed on...More

So picturesque and lovely. Its really a nice outdoor experience. Being near the little pond and river is really great for walking/jogging or letting the kids play. Our kids absolutely love walking along the river and throwing stones while looking for birds and animals.
