This small museum is downtown and near other attractions and places to eat. They have displays that change often of different collections throughout the world. For example, they are now featuring local citizens collections of articles collected throughout the world such as T-shirts, baskets, wood carvings, jewelry, and even toilet paper! A very interesting museum to spend an hour or... More

We enjoyed this place immensely with 3 adults and a 7 year old. It's a great combination of exhibits for adults with activities to engage children. We loved the map exhibit and music room. The tiny habitations of people around the world were super fun. My son hunted for hidden knomes with a magnifying glass and flashlight, they even had... More

The Global Village Museum in Old Town Fort Collins is a real gem. This nonprofit has an educational mission of fostering international connections through exhibits of folk art, fine arts, and artifacts from around the globe. They are the only intercultural museum in Colorado. The small staff displays the exhibits in a very professional, appealing manner. Many labels identify exactly... More

This small, unique, special place, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is international in scope and educational to visitors of all ages. The large exhibit changes every 4 months and the current one on China is exceptional. A huge collection of carved Jade that is well over 100 yr. old, plus other special items dating up to 1910... We visited this museum expecting it to be a few brochures and perhaps a small fish bowl display. Oh, how wrong we were, and delighted to be so wrong. This hidden gem deserves high praise. It is beautiful, well managed, diverse, interesting, and very welcoming. The staff is attentive yet not overbearing and the displays -- cleverly categorized. A small... More

What a jewel in Fort Collins! This museum on Mountain and Mason well situated in Old Town has very interesting revolving exhibits. The current one on China is breathtaking. I never saw jade like that in China. There's a small gift shop too.

This is such a great place. It is sad that so many people don't know about it. Even people in Fort Collins are unaware of it. I went to see the Nativities around the world and it was great. Over 200 nativities of all sizes. The rooms that never change are a delight also. I see things there that I... More

Exceptional exhibits are displayed in a congenial setting. And there is more: during the weeks an exhibit is shown, special programs and events related to the featured culture or region are presented. Fascinating!
