I love this place on so many levels. My mother-in-law recently stayed at and air b-n-b and everyday she would stroll to the gardens for both the appeal and the company she'd find. CSU goes all out in planting experimental flowers and labeling them for...More

Just happened upon this garden and was immediately drawn in to walk among all the colorful flowers. I actually saw a red hibiscus bloom that was almost as big as my head. It's always nice when something interesting just pops out when out walking. Sure...More

Instant gratification! The annual flower trial garden allows gardeners to fast forward to see the actual plant behind the seed packet photo and discover a little about the plant's needs, ie water, sun requirements. The annual flower trial garden is a boon for those of...More

I didn't know this existed until we drove by - what a lovely spot. And it makes sense at an Ag school. While this garden is spectacular to view in the summer, it is also a test garden. Different flower varieties are tested in this...More

If you haven't been to visit the gardens, make plans while the season allows it. This is a peaceful place to wander and look at all the varieties of flowers- many you may not even be aware of. Relax and smell the roses.

We have stopped by here before but didn't spend much time here. This time, it was our goal. My wife is really big into flowers and I tag along because some of them look really cool. I like the layout of the gardens, you can...More

If you like flowers and seeing new varieties that may be coming up for sale at your local greenhouse this is good for a 15 minute stop. But I'd make it as a stop to somewhere else.

Walk rows upon rows of beautiful flowers some of the newest developed. Each plant is identified so you can learn their names or record it to look for it for your garden next year.

Yes, it's wheelchair accessible. Some views, though, require getting around a foot path on the grounds. For more detail, I would contact their website thru Colorado State University.
