There's plenty of parking and hiking trails are well-marked. This is a beautiful spot- easy trails through meadows that are full of summer flowers and lush grass. If you want to have a picnic, there are tables in shelters and convenient toilets. The longer trail...More

Having lived in the area for many years, now a return visit there to find it still so well maintained. The trails are great, map boxes stocked, bathrooms well supplied and cared for. Most of all the views and the setting, so awesome.

Took a visit with my 2 pups. Trails were muddy, icy, and/or snow packed in shaded areas. Went mid morning mid day, not a lot of traffic on trails. (Good for us because the dogs get overexcited with other dogs.) Beautiful this time of year....More

Very nice walk in the woods overlooking a meadow. 3-4 mile trek with not much elevation change. Come here often to walk our dog. Especially scenic in the Fall and nice facilities available to have a picnic at when finished. Parking not usually a problem.

Wonderful forested 3-mile loop or 4.2miles if adding in the Junction House trail section round-trip back to the main parking lot. Unfortunately seeing increasing and very aggressive mountain biker traffic, surprising for such a flat short trail loop. Have had increasing incidents of near collisions...More

Beautiful 3 mile loop with shorter option and only small elevation gain-refreshing with lovely flowers. Lots of neighborhood hikers with dogs that are almost always leashed (leashing is a requirement).

This is just a beautiful area to hike. It was kind of chilly when were there and very uncrowded, but it a very popular hiking spot with good tree-coverage if it's getting hot out.

Used by primarily locals, before and after work and on weekends. The land is mostly gentle and lower trail is a perfect length and not too tiring for little dogs, whereas the other local open-space ranch nearby requires more challenging mountain-climbing. People are careful to...More

Well maintained and beautiful for an afternoon stroll, the Flying J Ranch is a great local spot. There are a few spots that can be slippery when wet, but overall, it is a pleasant, easy walk around the trails.
