Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park is in my backyard and we hike here often. The trails are well maintained. Gets super busy on weekends and parking can be an issue. Also, popular with both mtnb and hikers, which can result in conflicts. Dogs are supposed to be on leashes, but often run into people that disregard that rule. Really love this park. If you climb to the Brother outcropping, there's a great view of Mt. Evans.

Pretty trails for hiking, biking, climbing, and exploring! Pines, aspen, flowers, mosses, wet-weather springs and freshets, big boulders, and wildlife. Saw lots of kids and pets on the trails with adults having just as much fresh-air fun. Loved this place!

Three Sisters has a network of trails for hiking or mountain biking. They're not paved and have root and rock obstacles, and there are a number of switchbacks, so I imagine the biking is reasonably challenging. (We hiked.)
The view from "The Brother" is especially good, and not hard to reach. Getting to the top of any of the "Sisters" requires difficult scrambling, but is rewarding.

Alderfer Park has been in the Jefferson County Open Space Park system for a long time. It has quite a variety of trails, including some suitable for families with small children. There are nice rock outcroppings with great views. However, on weekends it is overwhelmed with users. It's not unusual for both parking lots to be full and another 50-60 cars parked along the road. Mountain bikers have seriously degraded the trails leading to Evergreen Mountain and often refuse to yield to other traffic, as they're required to. We still visit the park, but never on weekends.

Great trails for novice hikers and there are maps available. We went on a damp weekday and there was ample parking. We tried again on a sunny weekend and the place was jammed. Highly recommended.

Love to hike here. It is beautiful. Parking lot is really small, so plan accordingly. Hike to the top if you can... the views are worth it

This was our first hike at Three Sisters Park. Parking lot was usually full but we got lucky and popped right on in. We weren’t sure of the elevation gain and snow amounts with the recent storm but the trails were very negotiable and just perfect for us.
I use poles with ice and snow and I’m very happy I had them in the back of the car.
Many choices of routes depending on your schedule. Definitely will hike here again!!

My husband, two teenage daughters, and myself, hiked the Sisters Trail. It was about a 2 mile hike, which was some sun and shade. The hike took us up the mountain at a very easy pace, and then back down. It was a beautiful scenic hike, with lots of rocks for my daughters to climb, and we also were able to get close enough to deer for pictures. Most of the time we were by ourselves on the trail, and would occasionally pass others. I definitely recommend this hike, great picture taking opportunities.

Visited the park in June 2018. We enjoyed hiking the trails and making our way to some of the highest peaks.additional markers on the trails would have been helpful as we got off track one time. This would be enjoyable for the kids and a good way to let them get them some exercise in a great environment

My wife and I have day hiked there many times. They have an extensive trail system with 15+ miles of marked trails which you cn walk or ride (bike). There are trails that climb and others that are reasonable flat (remember you are in the Rocky Mountains). Take a camera and if you like expansive pictures don't rely on your phone camera. They do not have water or rest (toilets) stations so plan accordingly. Beautiful at all times of the year with spring and summer flowers and winter snows. You may see wildlife including Elk (often), bear and mountain lion (very seldom) and of course many small animals and birds.

How far of a drive from Denver to get there. Directions please
Written 7 September 2018
You can travel on I - 70 to the Bergen Parkway, or take 74 up from Morrison. Either way you come to s stop light in Evergreen and take route 73, about 1.5 Miles to a light, and there will be signs to the right for the Park. The East side of the Park is 3 Miles from that light and the west side is 4 miles. From Denver plan on 45 Minutes.
