We drove through and went snowmobiling it is beautiful. I am looking forward to coming back in the summer to see the flowers and trees all bloomed out.

We had a beautiful hike in the forest. The snow was like diamonds sparkling in the sun. Our little guys got to see water flowing under a layer of ice. We will go again!

We drove almost the entire San Juan Scenic Byway. Breathtaking views with plenty of spots to pull over. Snow-capped mountains, aspen gold, abandoned mines. Just gorgeous.

It was beautiful to say the least being we went during the Fall Foliage time of the year. Everywhere we drove was beautiful with the changing leaves. We saw some dear and would love to come back to the area in the future.

San Juan National Forest is gorgeous and very large. The Animas River runs through the mountains and is viewable from both Hwy 550 and the Durango-Silverton Train. Mountains are magnificent & worth the trip. We took some back roads up into the mountains. Just spectacular.
