We were there in October and the weather was perfect! Women at the gate was very welcoming. Map was easy to read for all trails. There is a separate area for campers. We were there for about 2 hours. Breathtaking views of the mountains, if...More

Mueller State Park isn't one of the most celebrated or most visited parks in Colorado. In fact, it can get downright lonesome. Located outside of Divide, Colorado, and southwest of Colorado Springs, it was established in 1986 and covers 5,112 acres. But the park is...More

I really liked this park. The walking trails are nice. The road was odd as the camping spots are like road pull offs so you have to wait for campers. Not that bad until you get stuck waiting on a camper that the guy can't...More

I wasn't expecting great hiking because the park maps seemed geared towards short 2-3 mile loops, but the trails (built on old logging roads) interconnect. There's also a trail connection to a nearby state wildlife area, providing plenty of miles of trail. Note that some...More

Took family for an afternoon getaway in late September "18. Beautiful drive getting there and while there. Nice, friendly people that work there. Nicely kept picnic areas.

We stopped by this park just for a few hours to take in the fall foliage to snap some family photos. We drove in and parked to take a walk down a hiking trail. We went downhill most of the way and at the bottom...More

Mueller is so beautiful and has tons of great hiking trails with views, wildlife, ponds, boulders, and historic sites. I have hiked and camped throughout Colorado, but this is my favorite state park. I was there most recently in August - at the height of...More

Our camping group stayed here for 3 days. The entire park is beautiful. We loved our campsites, the restrooms, the visitor center, the views - everything! Best place to stay in Colorado!

Beauty. This describes this great park. It's the highest state park in Colorado, so dress appropriately. In mid September, we woke to 42 degree mornings. There is a small store in Divide, CO, but otherwise check in Cripple Creek and Victor for places to eat....More

I didn't see that usual, 10 x 10 sandy area for tents. Looked like you could set your tent up about any where.
