I love the bike/walk path as it has so many amazing views of both the lake as well as the many surrounding mountain peaks. Super well maintained and smooth and well worth many return trips.

Large lake surrounded by mountains snow capped much of the year. Marina with boat fishing and sail boat rentals. Lots of sail boat races. Trail around lake is a great walk

We drove by and hiked around and biked around the Dillon Reservoir. It feels now like the back of my hand. Whether you want to bike or hike (and feed chipmunks) or kayak or canoe, or just sit and enjoy the view...this is a beautiful...More

It's been decades, but this location is tried and true. The glittering surface of the water is interrupted only by the occasional sailboat, paddleboat or canoe. Meander along the shoreline, enjoy the refreshing reservoir, or socialize at the marina's tiki bar. The shoreline is more...More

We were in Frisco visiting a friend and made this wonderful bike ride around Lake Dillon two times when we were here. It's a great 20 mile loop on a wonderful paved trail which is easy to navigate with one great big climb. It was...More

Nice views while staying overnight on way to Vail. Not sure what activities there are as we were only passing through. Pretty drive to Vail from here and quaint little town. There is an amphitheater they are remodeling that has lots of concerts

Best place to stay by. Always nice to watch boaters on the lake. Mountain view is gorgeous. And the weather changes quickly

My husband and I had a great time SUP and Kayaking. The wind picked up mid-morning but died down so we could go back out. Glad we made the trip to Dillon for the weekend!

For boats yes, but I don't think anything is needed for rental of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards.

Yes. There is a great paved bike/walking path all the way around the lake. I believe the total distance is about 10 miles can also hike along the shoreline and out on the peninsulas. These are easy paths.
